Resisting The Sweet Siren Song Of Negativity

Sometimes, when I read through stories on Medium, I'm struck by how many are negative stories. I try to stay away from negativity as much as possible because I used to be one of those people. 

Keeping a positive outlook on life can be very difficult because I think our entire society is built on the foundation of negative energy. I don't want to be part of the problem any longer and I'd rather stop writing than go back to misery and anger.
