Kindness Rocks

Kindness Rocks

A few days ago, Hal and I went to the grocery store to stock up on necessities. I have a handicap plate on my car, so we park near the door. I finished shopping before Hal, so I went to the car and waited for him. While I waited, I saw an older woman walking slowly toward her car parked across from mine in another handicapped spot. I saw that she had several large bags of groceries and looked very frail, so I got my cane, exited the car, and went to help her out. She was surprised to see someone else with a cane offering to help her, but she was grateful as well.

It is little things like this that make Kindness worthwhile. I wish I could describe my feeling, and I am sure that the woman had a great feeling as well.

Kindness rocks! Try it sometime.
