Another Random Posting

Sometimes, finding a subject to write about is complex, and this is one of those days. There isn't much to comment on here except for a trip to the dentist to pick up impressions for some upcoming bridge work early next year. Then, I take those impressions to the surgeon to schedule the surgery. 

Hal and I will make the most of our time out together today. This week is quiet, and we like it that way. We're staying home on New Year's Eve rather than risking our lives on the roads. As we get older, we prefer each other to the company of strangers. 

On an unrelated note, our new Wi-Fi router arrived today, which should boost the signal throughout the apartment once it is up and running. The installation was a breeze; now, every room has solid Wi-Fi access. Now, I can spend more time on the iMac and start work on my proposed podcast after the first of the year. I have put that task off for a long enough time; it's time to get moving again on that project. 

My other goal is to purge stuff I've kept for too long. I need a fresh start, and I need the space. As I write this, I feel crowded here at my desk. Things have got to go!
