A Post Each Day

It's already 2024! I want to write at least one story daily; That is my goal. I'm not making this a resolution, but I do want to write at least one story per day during 2024. I think it's a good exercise that will help me become a better writer, and I look forward to the challenge of maintaining a schedule every day. To make writing on my iPhone easier, I have started using the dictation feature. Writing on a small screen can be frustrating, so I am trying a new approach. Dictation allows me to speak my thoughts without anyone else hearing except Hal and the cats.

In 2024, I'm hoping to establish a new writing routine. I'm considering using the dictation feature to save time and make writing less of a chore. Regardless, I plan to continue writing and improving throughout the year. While some writers focus on earning from their work, that's not my primary goal. I only check my stats monthly and frequently. The time and effort I put into writing aren't worth it. If I do happen to make a bit of money from writing, that's great, but I question whether or not it's worth the expense of paying $5 each month for Comm. It's something to consider moving forward.

I'm usually late to the game when it comes to innovation. The idea of using my voice to type is somewhat intimidating to me. I wonder if people are judging me as a lunatic for talking on my phone and having no answer from another person on the line. Either way, I'll get through this, and I want to become a better writer, so sometimes, that requires some sacrifice.
