Today was Phyliis’ birthday. We started today, but as we were heading out for Phyllis to shop for her birthday, unfortunately, she didn’t feel well, so we returned home and let her take a long nap. After several hours, we hit the road after she felt better.  I survived the first round of shopping. Afterward, I decided to sit in the car and let them walk. Thankfully, she seems to have recovered, so that Hal will take her out to dinner. I’m still the chauffeur, but I don’t mind a bit.

Since Phyllis is in town for several more days, there’s no need to rush to do anything. We have all the time in the world, and we can do whatever we want when we want to. I am enjoying that Hal is buying dinners for everybody for a change. 

Overall, I’m having a good day. I decided to wait to open up my drone and test it out until after Phyllis has left because I don’t want to deter her from her visit here.  While Phyllis is in town, I don’t plan to do any tech shopping. I’d love to look at a new television, but we really don’t need to do that while she’s here.

At least I can sit here in the car and dictate this blog entry while they are inside Macy’s shopping. I don’t have any plans to rush them, but when they finish, hopefully, we’ll go ahead and find out about having dinner somewhere.

We had dinner at our local Greek restaurant, and Phyllis truly enjoyed it. I ordered groceries from Kroger, and I snuck in a birthday cake, which we enjoyed while watching Netflix. 

Hal will decide with Phyllis tomorrow about what trips we’ll make. I'll try to catch everything up sometime tomorrow.
