Valentine's Day went wonderfully for us. We had our pedicures at the neighborhood spa this morning, followed by a fabulous Greek lunch at one of our favorite spots. Hal did some shopping, and for a change, he bought several items.
We came home in a great mood, only to find out that there was yet another mass shooting in America. Today, the shooting happened in Kansas City, Missouri, at a celebration of the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory. Why do we continue to let these things happen? There's not enough kindness in the world.
