Today was my monthly visit to the nail spa for a pedicure. As a diabetic, foot care is critical to delay the onset of neuropathy. Because I have numbness in my toes and it isn't easy to bend over, a pedicure is an excellent way to take care of my feet. Honestly, I enjoy feeling pampered as well. I've decided to visit the spa when I need my nails trimmed or a foot massage.
We're thinking about one of our friends who is undergoing surgery today to remove a cancerous tumor and hoping that will stop the progress of the disease. We've known him for over twenty years, and he's always been a close friend. If you read this, please keep him in your thoughts.
After my pedicure pampering, I went home and stayed there. Hal was feeling tired, so I went to the nail spa alone, but it is less than 1/2 mile from our apartment. We will go out tomorrow for our weekly chiropractic visit anyway. While home, I seriously thought about getting a humidifier for the apartment. When I started to rub Willow, we both got a shock. It's a matter of finding one that is what I want but isn't too expensive. I'll research them over the next few days and decide.
Oh well, tomorrow will be here soon enough.
Be kind to each other.
